Product Description

Boron nitride is an excellent self-lubricating ceramic that can withstand high temperatures and maintain its lubrication capabilities in high vacuum environments.
Usually composed of hexagonal boron nitride (P-BN), it has good heat resistance, thermal stability, thermal conductivity, high temperature dielectric strength, and is an ideal heat dissipation material and high temperature insulation material.
Due to its high thermal and chemical stability, boron nitride crucibles are used in high temperature applications.
 

Boron nitride crucible can withstand high temperatures in the high vacuum environment, plus it has excellent corrosion resistance and electrical resistance. Thus, boron nitride ceramic crucible is an ideal choice in a wide range of industries, such as:

• Nonferrous & ferrous metals such as Al, Bi, Ge, Sb, Sn, Cd, Pb, Ni, Zn, Cu, Mg, Im, Fe, and Stainless Steel.
• Glass melt, Soda glass, Cryolite
• Silicon molten salt, fluoride, slag

Boron Nitride Crucible Advantages:

The working temperature of the boron nitride ceramic crucible is 1900°C under vacuum and 2100°C under atmosphere protection. Nitrogen or argon atmospheres are best, it makes have the longest life.

The boron nitride crucible has strong thermal shock resistance, 1500°C fast cooling without cracking, and 1000°C furnace holding for 20 minutes, taking it out and blowing and fast cooling for hundreds of times continuously without cracking.
